If you are just browsing looking for a class "near by" please don't dismiss this location as being "too far away". This location is only 20 minutes from Farmington & Taylor, less than that from Livonia & Redford. 10 minutes from Canton, Ypsilanti, Lincoln Park.

One of the benefits of taking this class at an outdoor range is that there are fewer distractions while shooting. At an indoor range you'll be shooting next to others that are not in your class making it difficult to listen to directions and harder to concentrate on your shooting and possibly less safe. At this outdoor range we have a deep pistol bay all to ourselves (out of ten) allowing for better concentration in a controled environment.

Classes are taught at Wayne County Raccoon Hunters Association (www.raccoonhunters.org).

Directions:

From the east: take I-94 exit #196 Wayne Road north 0.5 miles to Wick Road. Turn left (west) on Wick Rd. Travel 1.2 miles, past the railroad tracks and schools to the entrance of WCRHA on right (north side) where the power lines cross Wick Rd.

From the west: take I-275 exit #20 Ecorse Rd and turn east. Travel 1.1 miles to Cogswell Rd and turn right (South). Travel 0.9 mile to Wick Road and turn left (East). On Wick go 1/4 mile to the entrance of WCRHA on the left.

Remember to bring with you to class: Valid Michigan ID, lunch/dricks/snacks, pen/pencil, note paper, a safe operable handgun in legal enclosure (factory box, gun rug, etc.) 100 rounds of ammo (leave in car until range portion of class), eye and ear protection, cash for any balance due, gun rentals and ammo purchases).
